HERBAL NATURAL DYED COTTON

Have fun with herbal dyed fabrics.

These are our  vegetable/ herbal dyed fabrics. All the ingredients used to dye and fix this fabric are derived from plant origins. pomegranate, onion, turmeric, madder, indigo, sea salts, castor oil and many more are used. Many of the plants used have medicinal properties. This is the company that makes the fabric for us.

The cotton is organically grown

The fabric is GOTS certified which calls for social compliance to fair-trade principals.

Some of the fabrics will change as you wash it. The hotter and the more detergent you add, the more it will change and distress,and lighten,  so this is fabric is only  for the creative and adventurous soul. Darker shades change more than lighter shades.

I would suggest you test wash at different temperatures.

The fabric is medium weight poplin 54 inches (140) wide

Some people say add salt and vinigar (but not chips) to help stabilise the fabrics-
