HANDLOOM plain and patterned

Handloom fabric is made in peoples homes from yarn that has been previously dyed. Because the yarn is dyed (not the finished fabric) the fabric has much more character.

The weavers make around 3 metres a day and rolls are around 20m. when it has been made it is taken away and washed and ironed. It's dyefast and preshrunk .

Our handllooms are lovely characterful fabrics. They may  have small changes in texture and look, occasional small blemishes and imperfections. Shades may differ slightly from the samples.
