Genesh is our partner in India. This is Genesh's Aunty and her grandchildren. She winds the warp thread here for her son to weave for us. The orders we give them enables them to avoid poverty.

We supply ONLY organic and fairtrade cotton, linen, bamboo,  and vintage and retro prints for clothing and  organic fabric furnishing that respects both you and the families that grow the cotton and weave the fabric ..AND we just won an award from EFF (Ethical Fashion Forum) who are an international company promoting Ethical Fashion.

Prices here are per metre. Minimum order 1 metre of any cloth. You can order in  half metre increments above 1 metre.

We hold large stocks and a big range of organic and Fairtrade cotton fabric and linen and bamboo here in the UK. We return some of our profits to a charity enabling looms to be repaired and brought back into use in Kerala.

This is Mr and Mrs Manu. They are standing in their small weaving shed. We were able to help Mrs Manu through health problems last year. They weave our denim fabrics.

Shipping/despatch

Despatch is usually by next day. Small orders under 2kg by untracked royal mail. Larger orders by tracked courier, tell us if you want special delivery and we'll do our best. We send larger parcels by fast courier- we can save a couple of ££ with a slow courier- let us know if you want to do that.

We visited Genesh our designer in Kerela. It was great to meet everyone and see how the handllooms work. We met the ladies Co-operative we work with, and saw the dyehouse and spinning shed. This is Genesh, his family and the ladies Cooperative
