natural dye

This one is for the adventrous really. Fantastic rich colour - When cold washed the fabric begins to take on a slight  distressed look, a bit like gentle stonewash, which I think is lovely, but you may want it to stay pristine in which case this is not for you. As you increase the temperature so the distressing becomes more distinct.

54 inch poplin, medium weight. organic cotton dyed with madder root to give a superb rich rust colour.

Please be aware that because of the nature of madder and herbal dyeing the dye in this fabric will loose dye initially even when dry. If you want some fun with the fabric , have a look at the catagory on your right-tie dye and distressing, you can get some great effects by washing at high temperature with detergent, or using lemon juice as ink.
