PLAIN COTTONS

Crossweaves are 1.2 (48") wide. Yarn dyed, which means that the yarns are dyed before weaving. The warp is a different colour yarn to the weft and this gives the fabric a chambrey look, grainy and subdued and very classy. The fabric is medium weight, suitable for furnishing or clothing.

The selvedge is printed 'organic cotton'.

Plain handloom cottons are finer shirtweight handloom fabrics

Crossweaves are slightly heavier.

Both crossweave and handloom will have imperfections, slubs, thread thickening and slight shade changes

Crossweaves will have less imperfections.
